Jason Kelly
Jason Kelly launched Floribea.com in April 2026 to uncover Central Florida's undertold stories with truth and compassion.
He previously spent more than a decade at WFTV Channel 9, Orlando's ABC affiliate, where he served as Digital Executive Producer, leading strategy across digital news, social media, streaming and apps.
Kelly serves as President of the Lake Davis-Greenwood Neighborhood Association and sits on Orlando's Historic Preservation Board and the Mills 50 District's Board of Directors, where he chairs the Design Committee.
The 2025 graduate of the Mayor's City Academy is also a member of the Lake Davis/Greenwood Community Garden and previously served on the Harry P. Leu Gardens Board of Trustees.
He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2013 with degrees in psychology and journalism.
At UCF, he was News Editor of the Central Florida Future, the inaugural India Program Fellow for the UCF Office of Global Perspectives and held leadership roles in several Caribbean student organizations. He also worked as a conservation educator and tour guide at SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica.
Kelly graduated with honors from Winter Park High School in 2007.
